STEAM!!!

Well, here it is...Steam Show Season! We missed taking anything to Lathrop as Shan had to work so our 1st show of this year was Adrian, MO which was last weekend! I got to take my new baby! A 1960 Farmall Cub...isn't she cute?


Shan of course took the Advance ( the one in front)with Shan), she actually got to work at this show, she needed it bad...hadn't been worked in a long time. In the middle is the Buffalo Pitts which is shared with the Thurman Family (Bill, standing) and in the back is Bills big Advance.
The weather was great...we had a little rain on Saturday but all in all it turned out to be a fabulous weekend! Yes, steam shows are about the old days...before all the MODERN technology of the BIG boy toys! Of course, tractors are a big part too hence my Cub!

Do you ever think about that statement?
I do, and I know that I am. I am the perfect mix of both of my parents!
I am strong willed (both), I am stubborn (both), I am outgoing (more my dad, but my mom is too she just doesn't know it!), emotional (my mom), full of love (my mom), quick tempered (my dad), the list can go on and on...
I am my parents, the only reason I'll never have children is because I don't want a kid like me! I was bad to my parents...I'm only lucky that they love me, and that I can now say they are my dearest friends as well as my parents. If I could have chosen my own parents they are the ones I would have picked!
